PRUDENCE BROWNE, FOUNDER AND DIRECTOR
Prudence has managed community-based and University-based programs for over 20 years. She most recently served as the Associate Director of the Social Justice Initiative at The University of Illinois at Chicago before moving to Norristown, PA. Quickly embedding herself into the network of real estate investors in Norristown and greater Philadelphia area, she began by lending to real estate investors. Prudence is a graduate of the 2019 Norristown Citizen Leadership Academy where she learned to build cooperative relationships with Montgomery County civic and business leaders. She has served for many years on philanthropic boards to raise and give money to social justice projects, and has graduate degrees in non-profit management and curriculum and instruction. She is an avid tennis and chess player and loves to garden.
NEIL HENNING, ASSOCIATE DIR. OF PROGRAMS
Neil is the father of 2 amazing kids, Aiden and Tess. He has been married to his lovely wife Amy for 8 years. Neil began his real estate investing journey in 2018 when he and Amy purchased a new house in the Norristown area and decided to rent out their old house. They realized that focusing on buy-and-hold real estate investing will allow them to get the best education possible for their children in the future. Since that first rental Neil has been consuming as much knowledge as possible, networking frequently, executing with more buy and hold properties, and teaching others. Neil was attracted to Jumpstart Norristown because his family is from Norristown, he lives in Norristown School District and his mother works at the school district as well! Neil believes that Norristown is filled with incredible people and beautiful buildings and its our responsibility to invest responsibility, and show that we can make a difference for our community.
